Teach on TechlyUp

Help someone take their next learning step

Share a subject you know, a skill you practise or experience that can guide someone else. Teachers, working and retired professionals, hobby experts and community educators are welcome to apply.

Two ways to teach on TechlyUp

Instructors teach a subject or skill; mentors guide learners through questions, projects and decisions. Each has its own application and experience requirement.

Who can apply

School teachers, college faculty, professionals, retirees, independent trainers, hobby experts and community educators can share their experience. Subjects can span academics, careers, business, everyday digital skills and creative interests. Tell us who you can support; every application is reviewed before an offer is published.

  • Instructors: 3+ years of relevant experience · Mentors: 10+ years
  • Relevant teaching, professional or sustained practical experience in your subject
  • Can commit to a consistent, agreed schedule for live sessions
  • Comfortable reviewing learner work and giving specific feedback
  • Clear, honest communication — you say what a method can and can't do

Formats to propose

Live group sessions

A subject, skill or hobby taught through explanation, guided practice and review.

1:1 sessions

Focused guidance on studies, career decisions, a practical project or a new skill.

Worked-example clinics

Short, practical sessions built around one artifact: a template, a checklist, a small build.

Who does what

Teaching and platform operations are kept separate so mentors can focus on learners.

You teach and review

You run live sessions and give real feedback on learner work — explanation, review, and improvement guidance.

You hold your slots

Sessions happen at times you actually offered. If a schedule changes, you tell learners early and agree alternatives.

You keep it honest

No guaranteed outcomes in your teaching. You show methods, worked examples, and verification — the same standard our published content follows.

Operations agreed before a launch

Profile and offer publishing after separate approval

Registration, pricing and payment setup for an approved offer

A confirmed schedule and agreed learner communication

Recording permissions, replay release and access windows

Support responsibilities and applicable refund terms

Application and review

Your application is saved privately for review. The receipt confirms storage, not approval, a review deadline or an email notification.

1

Application

You submit the form below. It's stored privately and acknowledged as received — nothing publishes automatically.

2

Review

We check expertise against the learning areas we can actually support, and may ask for a short demo or more information.

3

Alignment call

If review is positive, we discuss formats, availability, and how commercial terms would be structured for your sessions.

4

Approval (separate steps)

Profile approval and offer approval are separate decisions. Nothing goes live until both clear, and terms are agreed in writing.

Commercial terms, honestly stated

How sessions are priced, and how mentors are paid, is agreed individually in writing before anything goes live — it depends on format, preparation, and review load, so we don't quote a blanket revenue share here. TechlyUp does not promise mentor application volume, guaranteed leads, or earnings. What we commit to: transparent terms, real registration and payment handling, and clear records of what was delivered.
